How do I book a pop-up play package with Tyke Invite?


Once your reservation request is submitted, our team will contact you within 24-hours to confirm your event details. After that, we will send a rental agreement, release of liability waiver, photo release (optional) and invoice.




How much is the deposit?


Deposits are due within 24-hours of confirming your reservation details and total 50% of your play package. Final balances are due no later than 72-hours before your event.




What are your service areas and delivery fees?


We serve Minnesota's Twin Cities and neighboring communities within a 30-mile radius of our Eagan, MN base. Delivery fees are now included in the cost of all play packages. If you are beyond our service area and still want us at your event, please complete the reservation request and provide location and event details.




How is play package pricing determined?


Each play package is based on designated play space dimensions, included play equipment, play hours, and the number of children expected at your event. Our cleaning expenses are also factored into the cost. Delivery and sales tax will be applied to the invoice once event details are confirmed.




When is the final balance due?


Final balances are due no later than 72-hours before your event.




What are your cleaning procedures?


Each piece of our equipment, including every ball pit ball, is thoroughly sanitized and disinfected after each event, utilizing Thieves, a non-toxic, residue-free cleaner.




What are your space requirements?


Designated play areas must meet the space requirements of your selected play package. The play area must be clear prior to our arrival. We set up on flat, clean, dry surfaces both indoor and outdoor, weather permitting.




What equipment will I have at my event?


We thoughtfully select the inclusion of play equipment for each event based on the age(s) and developmental stage(s) of the children at the event. Please include any specific notes included in your reservation request.




What is your weather policy?


In the event of extreme weather conditions on the day of your event, we will offer a full refund, including the deposit, if we are unable to reschedule the event.




What is soft play equipment?


Soft play equipment is designed to facilitate stimulating, active and imaginative play for children under 5-years-old. Our indivdually customized soft play modules help little ones gain confidence, fine tuned motor skills, and physical literacy.




Is Tyke Invite insured?


Yes. We have commercial general liability insurance, and the appropriate requirements for most public venues in Minnesota's Twin Cities and neighboring communities.




Who are your party attendants and what do they do?


Renter must have a 1:4 adult-to-child ratio at all times monitoring children in the play area. We have a team of awesome party attendants with childcare experience happy to assist with monitoring your play area. We recommend a 1:4 attendant to child ratio. Party attendants are there to ensure the play rules are followed and to assist children while they play.




Can Tyke Invite set up sensory play areas?


Some activities and environments can be more stimulating than others, and each child has a different sensory threshold. Tyke Invite play areas can be tailored to the specific needs of children to include either super active or calming sensory equipment.




Are deposits refundable?


Deposits are non-refundable, however, we will refund deposits for events we are unable to reschedule due to extreme weather.




How long does set-up and break-down of the play area generally take?


You can expect about 30 to 90 mins for each set-up and break-down depending on your space and selected play package. We will coordinate our set-up and break-down times to avoid disruptions on the day of your event.




Does Tyke Invite offer long term rentals & leasing?


We offer long term rentals for customers interested in enjoying our soft play modules more than one day. This option is perfect for pre-school enrichment programs, grandparents spending long weekends with their grands, or businesses seeking more accommodations for younger patrons. Our leases range from 2 days to 4 weeks. With lease terms 2 weeks or greater, we are able to swap out your soft play modules weekly to keep things exciting. PLAY RULES

We provide signage of the play rules at each event:

  • No shoes allowed in the play area 

  • No food, drinks, candy, or gum in the play area 

  • Only children 5-years-old and under permitted on soft play modules

  • Children in the play area must be supervised by reasonable adults or party attendants at all times

  • No more than the maximum number of children noted in your play package allowed in the play area at one time

  • No sharp objects, face paint, or other damage-prone objects allowed in the play area

  • No animals or pets permitted in the play area

  • Soft play equipment must remain inside the play area at all times
